To Hilary Rosen who said “A Stay at home mom of 5 never worked a day in her life”. SHAME ON YOU!  If you think a stay at home mother of any number of kids doesn’t work. If you’ve never been witnessed to the blood sweat and tears that goes in to being a stay at home mom. If you’ve never witnessed the love poured into children when often the children could care less! If you haven’t witnessed love on top of love on top of love on top of heart break, loving even when a child might not be lovely. If you haven’t witnessed this blessed, powerful, gentle, loving, dynamic, unsung, joyous, victorious even in defeat STAY AT HOME MOM–

Then, you dear dear fool… YOU SHOULD JUST KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT! MY MOM WORKED HARDER THAN ANY WOMAN I KNOW! AND NO ONE DESERVED IT LESS THAN ME! I PRAISE GOD FOR THIS HERO IN MY LIFE! Dear mom, I love you. I love you Momma! Thank you for loving me no matter what! I love you!

Independence Day

Stock Xchange--

The fireworks, that we might remember the rocket’s red glare that our flag endured!
That we might remember the blood of our forefather’s who bodies held up the flag in stark defiance of tyranny and unjust persecution!
That we might remember the tears of our mothers and grandmothers and great grandmothers when they found out the sacrifices that their kin made that their children should be free!
This weekend and this monday we celebrate independence. Not from a tyrannical overlord, not from a persecuting government, not from judges who think they are “god”. But this Independence Day we celebrate our Independence. . . Our Independence from fear. An Independence bought dearly with the blood, sweat, and tears of our past, and held by our resolve for the future. A resolve that a government, of the people, by the people, for the people and Under God shall not perish from the earth. This Independence Day, let us thank God for freedom, for without Him it is as meaningless as it is fleeting…

Media Refuses Name of Jesus

Not a big surprise, but the media won’t mention the name of God or Jesus. They talk about the goodness of man, the brotherhood of mankind, the humanist ideals of a perverted peace and love, even making Santa Clause the pinnacle of all things Christmas. But heaven forbid they should mention the name of Christ.

Well Known Bank Attacks Christmas

A well known chain of banks (JP Morgan Chase) has forced all their banks to remove any Christmas decorations from their banks, in favor of sanitized decorations provided by home office.

Let your local Chase Bank know that you are dissapointed in them, and check out American Family Association for more details.    [link below]

Christmas without Christ?

I pity these people. Atheists and Agnostics who openly attack the Word of God, curse His name, question His existence, and generally blaspheme the cause of Christ.

God has promised that the wicked who hate His name and His people will be shown how wrong they are. Whether it is now, or when the end comes, we do not know. Let us pray that God has mercy, and allows them to see the truth before it’s too late.

A jesus, or The Jesus.

Isaiah 9:6-7

Many religions have room for a jesus (notice non-capitalization). They have room for a baby in a manger that is harmless, unassuming, all accepting–simply a signpost pointing to the ultimate happiness of an all-inclusive, pluralistic, otherworldly utopia.
Many religions have room for a jesus. They have room for a long-haired, limp-wristed, effeminate renaissance painting that forgives the harlot, but conveniently forgets to say “Go and Sin No More!”
Oprah believes in a jesus–a non-jealous, non-judgmental teacher who leads people to god (non-caps), the light, nirvana, heaven, or whatever other term floats your inter-faith, ecumenical,  tolerance-happy boat.

And yet, for THE Jesus of the Bible, other religions have no room. There is no room for Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God and God in the Flesh who is the ONLY way the ONLY truth and the ONLY life. Many people in the spirit of anti-christ will accept a “jesus”, but it is not the Jesus Christ  of the Bible, and is therefore an idol. One aspect or another of His person is left out to suit their own fleshly desires, and therefore the image in their minds can NO LONGER be labeled as the Christ, the Son of the Living God!

This season of Christmas, let us realize that–while the first appearance of Christ on earth is a blessed event– it is His person that we truly celebrate. Let us remember that we celebrate the fact that the righteous, loving, living, only God came to earth for us, in order to die, be buried, and rise again the third day so that our sins may be forgiven, and that we may go to live with Him in Heaven eternally. Let us remember that we are celebrating HIM as the ONLY way the ONLY truth, and the ONLY life!

Let us remember the Real Jesus.

Lost Meaning of Thanksgiving

A few weeks ago, it was halloween, and the Christmas decorations were already up for sale at Walgreens. A few less weeks ago, Thanksgiving decorations were already on clearance at Wal-Mart. Christmas music is playing earlier and earlier ever single year, and the market machine is trampling our Day of Thanks in an attempt to make the biggest buck it can on Christmas.

Let’s face it, Thanksgiving is one of the few national holidays left that can be purely attributed to Christian morals and ideals. It is a day about giving thanks to God for the bounty He has blessed us with. And as such, society wants nothing more than to sweep it under the rug.

Do not let this happen. Remember what the meaning of Thanksgiving is. Remember everything you have to be Thankful for. The nation in which you live, the bounty with which you are blessed, the family you have, the house you live in, and the Salvation the Lord Jesus Christ gives freely. And with joy in your heart, and a smile on your face, look someone in the eye and say “Happy Thanksgiving!”

Here is a Bible tract that shows the real meaning of Thanksgiving, and society’s attempt to make it dissapear.
